Sethoscope
A stethoscope is a vital medical acoustic device invented in 1816 by René Laennec, used for listening to internal bodily sounds (auscultation), primarily heart, lung, and bowel sounds. It consists of a chest piece (diaphragm and/or bell), tubing, and earpieces, amplifying sounds for diagnostic purposes.
